About GRIP

Meet Linda
Linda Kelleher is the Founder and Executive Director of GRIP Ministries. A passionate advocate for families, Linda has been facilitating Nurturing Parenting programs since 2015 and has completed advanced training as a National Trainer. She is also trained in structured observation, which she uses to support her work with parents and volunteers.
Beyond GRIP, Linda brings decades of professional experience from her long career at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, where she has worked since 1981 in leadership roles across clinical nursing units and processes. With 12 years in Emergency Medicine—including service on the Child Neglect Team and Grievance Committee—Linda has gained deep insight into the challenges families face. Since 2006, she has served as a Pharmacy Case Manager.
Linda’s passion for GRIP is rooted in her own life experience. As a single mother to her two sons, Brian and Steven, she learned firsthand the importance of parenting skills and family support. Today, she is a proud grandmother—“Gigi”—to two grandchildren and remains very close with her adult sons. Linda’s heart is to equip parents with the tools they need to raise children in safe, healthy, and nurturing homes, and to spread GRIP’s vision nationwide.
Our Story

Keeping Families
Together
Founded in 2010, God Raising Incredible Parents (GRIP) Ministries is a Sarasota, Florida–based nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families and promoting biblical principles for parenting. GRIP’s mission is to encourage successful parenting through measurable outcomes in children’s lives, equip parents with tools to improve family structure, and provide hope and change by reducing neglect and abuse in the home.
As a 501(c)(3) organization (through Galatians 6:2), GRIP offers programs like the Nurturing Parenting evidence-based curriculum, which has been a proven success for countless families. The ministry is also approved in Circuit 12, enabling judicial clients to participate in GRIP programs for court-mandated cases.
Supported by a team of vetted facilitators and volunteers, GRIP is committed to its vision of “keeping families together.”
