About Our Curriculum

GRIP uses the Evidenced Based Nurturing Parent Curriculum approved by Circuit 12 (Manatee, Sarasota, and Desoto) County Judicial System. The pre-PFS survey that students take on week 1 will determine their strengths and weaknesses through 5 areas of parenting.  These results will help them focus on the next 10 weeks of class. In the 11th week, the post-PFS survey is repeated and reveals the positive outcome of their parenting.

We currently range from 120-170 students per 11 weeks in 13 locations. The jails being our largest clients. HOPE is spread throughout our classes. We strive to give HOPE to our parents. 85% of our clients will reunify with their children.

Linda Kelleher Founder/Director is a National Trainer in the Nurturing Program/GRIP. Linda is also trained in structured observation and home visits. Please contact us for a curriculum or GRIP training for your agency.
